Dr. Jeff Shnall's Bio
I received my B.Sc.
from the University of Toronto in 1985. I then went on to receive
my dental degree from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University
of Toronto in 1989. After a few years of general practice I
took over the practice of a retiring dentist in the Beach on
Kingston Road. That was back in 1992 and have been there ever
since.
Dentistry truly is a helping profession and I am truly happy that I
chose it as an occupation. As most dentists will tell you,
education does not end the day that you graduate from dental
school. Over the many years since I graduated I have
continually upgraded my skills and dental knowledge and know-how
through continuing education courses and the through continuous
reading of dental literature. I am fascinated by the
innovation that continues to improves the care that our
profession can offer our patients.
While I enjoy
all aspects of dentistry I am especially interested in
implant and cosmetic dentistry as well the area of
periodontics, which involves the treatment of gum disease through
both non-surgical and surgical methods.
On a more
personal note, some of my other interests
include:
Running (just
completed my first marathon, the Mississauga Marathon)
Past-president of
Kingston Road Village (a local association that helps promote
business and community events along Kingston Rd in the
Beach
Ice
hockey
